Peter Hall, Mapping the Intangible
Experimental design practices
Design educator and critic Peter Hall discusses the emergence of mapping as a design process and asks what technology design might learn from experimental approaches to understanding and visualising socially constructed concepts. Such concepts include privacy, networks and identity, mapping as a means of researching and visualising complex problems, and revealing potential solutions.
An outcome from the VOME project delivered at the Design Centre, Covent Garden, 2011.
