Our Collaborations
Although our work started at Royal Holloway and the projects are university-led projects, we have always worked with groups, individuals, and organisations beyond the university. Our work is always co-designed with our fellow refractionists beyond the unviersity walls. These partnerships always have fun, curiosity, and commitment at their heart and this has enabled us to co-produce work that we are truly proud of. We'd like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all them for being willing and joyful co-explorers as we journey together through the complex terrain that is digital security.
Become a Refractionist!
We would love to hear from you if you are interested in collaborating with us. Our collaborations come in all shapes and sizes. Over the years we have worked with community organisations, voluntary and third sector groups, technology companies as well as researchers in other universities.
Our main vehicle for collaboration is the Interdisciplinary Security Collective. The collective is intended to be a home for security refractionists. The collective works across the full spectrum of security studies, pushing the boundaries of interdisciplinary security knowledge and practice. If this seems like it might be a home for you, please do get in touch using the contact form.

Our work would not have been possible without funding and over the years we have been funded by the following funding bodies:
