Many computing users on the periphery of society, including users of Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC) technology, are left to negotiate their relationship with technology without the help and support usually provided to mainstream users.
We argue that mainstream society may benefit from using information management practices deployed by the AAC user community and explore personal data management problems that arise during AAC use and how users omit them.
