About
We explore the socio-technical environment of an electronic food voucher system used by Syrian refugees in Lebanon admist food insecurity, and provide insights into information and power asymmetries, refugee collaborative coping practices, and how the community interplays with the e-voucher system.
We highlight a number of considerations essential to be taken into account when employing humanitarian aid technologies and call for CSCW researchers and humanitarian innovators to adopt everyday security as a lens for designing aid technologies.
